Thai Massage

The Thai name for Thai massage is Nuad Phaen Boran, and means "ancient healing touch." During a Thai massage the clothed body is softly stretched along ten selected energy lines and worked over with rhythmic pressure on the balls of the hands, thumbs, knees, elbows, and the feet. The Thai massages promotes the energy flow in the body in that it eliminates blockages. Traditionally the treatment lasts at least two hours. Traditional Thai massage is used for health care and regeneration. Because of the stretching movements, in western Europe this massage is also known as the Thai Yoga Massage.
